Grand Targhee Resort's summer opening day is on Friday!

THIS WEEK:
• Summer opening day at Grand Targhee Mountain Resort is Friday. This amazing ski resort, nicknamed "Mellowstone," is less than an hour's drive from Jackson. Read our story about all the summer happenings at the 'Ghee here.
• The summer Jackson Hole People's Market is on Wednesdays at the Center for the Arts lawn. Enjoy a selection of locally produced food items and crafts, as well as music, from 4 to 7 p.m.
• The Jackson Hole History Museum's Historic Downtown Walking Tours are held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10:30 a.m., starting at the museum. You can purchase tickets at the front desk. Click here for prices and more information.
THIS WEEKEND:
• Saturday is the Annual Plein Air Fest at the National Museum of Wildlife Art: 50 invited artists are given one day to create new masterpieces en plein air (outside). There is free entry to the event and the galleries from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kick off the morning with coffee, mimosas and pastries for purchase from Palate restaurant between 9 and 10:30 a.m. You can buy street tacos at Palate from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live music from Derrik & The Dynamos takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Sunday is free entry day to Grand Teton National Park.
• "Sunday Funday" starts at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort this weekend from 2 to 5 p.m. Get $20 0ff bike park tickets and 20% off downhill bike rentals; females can take advantage of $10 bike park tickets and $50 bike park guides. The Tram Dock will feature signature drinks and cocktail specials from its garage window.
MUSIC MOMENTS:
• Local musician Aaron Davis performs Wednesdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Old Timer restaurant at Trailborn (formerly Hayden's Post at Snow King)
• Jackson Hole music legend John Sidle will be playing Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at "Live on The Deck" at the top of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's Bridger Gondola.
• Enjoy live music from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday in the lobby of The Cloudveil on Town Square.
DON'T MISS...
... "Yoga in the Courtyard" at the Virginian Saloon on Thursday. Price: Free for hotel guests and $15 for non-hotel guests. Time: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
