Best RV Parks Near Jackson Hole

There are several RV parks near Jackson Hole offering easy access to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and boasting spectacular views to boot.

RV-ing to the Tetons is a most special thing, indeed. And while both Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks offer campgrounds that can accommodate your van, camper trailer, fifth-wheel, Class C or motorhome, choosing to stay outside the parks offers you and your family a whole different experience.

Here are the best RV parks near Jackson Hole.

VIRGINIAN RV PARK

This popular in-town RV park is a convenient short walk to Jackson Town Square and a 20-minute drive to the entrance of Grand Teton National Park. There are 103, pet-friendly RV sites at the Virginian RV Park with full hookups, picnic tables, shady trees and convenient access to cable and WiFi services. The campsites include gravel pads that can accommodate up to 40 feet with room for slide-outs. The park is also adjacent to its sister property, The Virginian Lodge, which features restaurants, a saloon, a convivial courtyard, a pool and a hot tub. The RV park is open from May 1st through October 15th.

Snake River Cabins & RV Village

SNAKE RIVER CABINS AND RV PARK

The Snake River Cabins and RV Village is located on the banks of the iconic and mighty Snake River, a scenic 12-mile drive to downtown Jackson. There are full hookups for water, sewer and electric for trailers, motorhomes and RVs up to 30 feet in length. There are also cabins, both deluxe and camping cabins, and tent camping sites.

The park was voted "Best Designated Campground" in Best of Jackson Hole 2024 contest, and won the silver medal in 2026.

ALPINE VALLEY RV RESORT

Approximately 40 minutes south of Jackson via the incredibly scenic Snake River Canyon, lies the area's luxury RV park in Alpine, featuring 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and the confluence of the Snake and Greys rivers and the Palisades Reservoir.

The park won "Best Designated Campground" in the 2026 Best of Jackson Hole contest.

Alpine Valley offers full hook-up RV sites for rigs up to 75 feet in length and is pet-friendly. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table with chairs. There is also a bathhouse and laundry facility, a large playground and lawn games for outdoor family fun. The park is conveniently situated next to a supermarket and is also mere minutes from Alpine's restaurants, a world-class brewery and retail stores.  Owned by Dave Hansen Whitewater, you can depart and return directly from Alpine for your rafting trip through the Snake River Canyon without having to shuttle to and from Jackson, saving you hours in the car.

FIRESIDE RESORT

Fireside offers two RV parks/resorts in the Jackson/Grand Teton National Park area.

Fireside in Jackson Hole, located on Rte. 390 — otherwise known as the Village Road —was established in 1963 and is the longest-running campground in the area. All sites offer electric, water, sewer and cable hook-ups. Other amenities include showers and bathrooms, coin-operated laundry facilities and a campground store among other "perks." There is also a dump station available from mid-May to mid-October. Electric sites only are offered from October to April.

Fireside Buffalo Valley sits 5 miles east of the Moran entrance of Grand Teton National Park, which leads to Yellowstone's entryway. It features full hookups — water and electric — plus picnic tables, in-ground fire rings and gorgeous Teton Range views. The onsite convenience store carries firewood, ice, last-minute meal items, RV supplies and propane refills, and also features a small bar. The RV park's gas station has regular, plus and premium gasoline and diesel fuel available 24/7 at the pump. A coin-operated laundromat is also available.

ALPINE/BRIDGER-TETON NATIONAL PARK KOA

One of the newest RV parks on the block is the Alpine/Bridger-Teton National Forest KOA in Etna (WY), a 45-minute drive south from Jackson. You can enjoy mountain views, large camping spots, full hook-ups, WiFi and easy access to the forest. Amenities at this pet-friendly RV park include laundry facilities, restrooms, a playground and a dump station.
