Woke up hungry but don’t know where to go for breakfast? Jackson Hole offers a great selection of restaurants, many of which serve breakfast. Check out this list of seven breakfast spots adored by locals and visitors alike.
The Bunnery Bakery and Restaurant
The Bunnery Bakery and Restaurant originally began as a small log cabin that was once a blacksmith shop and later became a bakery, which was expanded to a restaurant. Located just half a block north of Town Square, the Bunnery offers a full breakfast menu along with a large selection of freshly baked goods, including Danishes, croissants, coffee cake and more. Visitors can enjoy sitting on the deck in the summertime and the restaurant offers “to go” packages of all their O.S.M. (Oats, Sunflower, and Millet) breads and mixes.
Location: 130 N Cache St in downtown Jackson, WY
Persephone Bakery Boulangerie and Cafe
Inspired by the bakeries in France, Persephone Bakery Boulangerie and Cafe uses old world fermentation techniques and baking with the heavy heat of a stone hearth to produce beautifully rustic breads and pastries. Enjoy an omelet made with organic eggs or take a bite of bread pudding French toast while soaking in sunlight on the outdoor deck. Persephone carries Chicago-based artisanal roaster Intelligentsia Coffee and has a large selection of espresso drinks and housemade flavor syrups.
Location: 145 E Broadway in downtown Jackson, WY
Picnic Coffee & Café
Picnic stocks locals’ favorite pastries handmade by Persephone Bakery as well as its own versions of American classics like pop tarts and whoopee pies. Picnic also features locally roasted organic coffee by Snake River Roasters. Try their egg sandwiches, savory toasts (the “Green Eggs and Ham” is a treat!) or sweet toasts offerings. Grab a burrito or fresh, pre-made salad on your way to the river or hiking trails.
Location: 110 Maple Way in Jackson, WY
Pearl Street Bagels
Voted the locals’ favorite coffee shop for years, Pearl Street Bagels is an integral part of the Jackson Hole community. The authentic boiled and baked bagels come in a variety of flavors, including cinnamon raisin, honey sunflower, spinach feta, and 7 grain, and are made fresh daily. In addition to bagels, visitors can choose from a large selection of sandwiches, salads, baked goods, organic coffee, and a full espresso bar. Fresh fruit smoothies are offered during the summer and free WiFi is available year-round.
