Jackson Hole Grand Teton National Park To-Do's

Jenny Lake Boat Ride and Hike This is one outdoors activity anyone can do. Hop in one of the boat shuttles and speed across scenic Jenny Lake, gazing at stunning views of the Tetons. Once you’re on the other side, you can choose from several easy-to-strenuous hikes or a boat ride back across the lake.

Dinner at Jenny Lake Lodge Bring your sport coat; you’re in for a special evening out. The rustic, scenic lodge is the setting for a gourmet five-course dinner served nightly – a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. Tables are often filled by lodge guests, but visitors not staying at the lodge are encouraged to call ahead for reservations.

Float the Snake River Taking a scenic float down the winding waters of the Snake River is one of the most relaxing ways to spend a morning or afternoon while visiting Jackson. Several rafting companies around the area offer these trips, which can last from three to five hours.

Rent a Boat on Jackson Lake Whether a one-person kayak or full-size deck cruiser is more your speed, spending the day on the largest and most boater-friendly lake in the area is a perfect summer activity. Both Signal Mountain Lodge and the Grand Teton Lodge Company offer rentals.

Climb the Grand Teton Experience the ultimate Grant Teton adventure: climb it! Sign up for a trip up the Grand with the Exum Guide service and, after completing two days of instruction, you’ll be cleared for a trip up to the summit. Advance registration is required; trips fill up months in advance, so be sure to plan ahead.
