Grilling The Chefs

Where do Jackson’s talented chefs dine when they are not preparing delicious food in their respective establishments? Each year we ask a sampling of local chefs to share favorite spots for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and wine. Some even let us in on a secret place or two. Bon Apetit!

Jeff Drew, Snake River Grill

Best Jackson Hole Breakfast "The chilaquiles at Bon Appe Thai. It's actually more like migas, which is a dish with eggs and corn. I'm from Santa Fe, so this is my kind of food.”
Local’s Lunch “The reuben at Sweetwater.”
Best Kept Secret "The patio at Horse Creek Station. After kayaking, I'll sit out there and order the pulled pork sandwich."
Most Unique Regional Dish "The huckleberry malt at the Emporium in Victor, ID."
If you only had one night to go out, where would you go? "I'd go to the Four Seasons lobby lounge, order a Hendricks gin with lemon and lime on the rocks and an appetizer, and listen to the live music.”
Best Wine Selection “Rendezvous Bistro - good wines for affordable prices."

Kevin Humphreys, GameFish at the Snake River Lodge

Best Breakfast "The Bunnery's croissant breakfast sandwich."
Local’s Lunch “Pica's. I get something different every time, but I really like the tacos al pastor and the chicken Milanesa torta.”
