This new family-friendly spin on the literary classic, “Frankenstein” confronts modern issues of climate change, artificial intelligence and our relationship to technology; monsters of our own making, if you will. • On Halloween itself, watch all the young trick-or-treaters on Town Square. Held from 3 to 5 p.m., this annual event is a classic Halloween favorite of both young and old, as the costumed kids (and their parents) roam from store to store. New to the event is the addition of trunk-or-treating on Center Street. The parking areas around the Town Square will be filled with decorated vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars and other fun vehicles, all decked out for Halloween. Children can wander from vehicle to vehicle, gathering candy in a safe, family-friendly environment.
