Two Days of Family Fun in Jackson Hole

Paddle, sight-see and ride your way to an unforgettable mountain vacation.

Jackson Hole is chock-a-block with family fun, from the rivers to the mountains and everything in between. We've compiled some of our favorite activities to enjoy with the whole family.

  • Saddle Up, Pardner!

Teton Village Trail Rides Start at Teton Village for a safe, scenic and memorable trail ride with Western attitude to spare. Teton Village Trail Rides offers one-hour, two-hour and half-day rides on the historic Snake River Ranch, so it’s simple to fit your ride into any day. Our horses are gentle mountain horses and fit for any level of rider. As they say, there’s no better way to enjoy the beauty of the Jackson Hole valley than from a horse! Come take a ride with this team of experienced cowboys at the base of the Tetons. Open mid-May through mid-October.

  • Trade in Your Spurs for Paddles with a Half-day Whitewater Float Trip

Sands Whitewater & Scenic River Trips Led by Sands Whitewater’s professional guides, these trips are like nature’s roller coaster, but with much better scenery and zero motion sickness. Set against the backdrop of the lush Snake River Canyon, each one of our 8-mile whitewater adventures is full of splashy thrills and photo ops. We’ve been guiding since 1964—your safety, comfort and enjoyment are our No. 1 priority.

  • Stroll the Sculpture Trail

National Museum of Wildlife Art Talk about synergy: Add one part outdoor vistas, one part dynamic wildlife sculptures, and then add you. Voila! You have the Sculpture Trail, where we create a special hands-on experience with monumental art in the open air. The Sculpture Trail is free and open to the public, and is accessible by bike or foot via the community pathway. Check our website to see if a unique outdoor program is happening on the trail during your visit!

  • Cool Your Heels

Rendezvous Bistro Regroup with an evening meal at Rendezvous Bistro, where each table or comfortable booth provides crayons and butcher paper to entertain all ages. This keeps even the littlest travelers cheerfully occupied while they munch on entrées of grilled cheese or any of the American bistro fare dishes on the expansive menu. In the summer, enjoy a leisurely Jackson Hole evening on the relaxing deck.

Kids love eating inside a giant tepee or playing on the lawn in front of impressive Teton views!
