When you think of eating out here in the Tetons, you might conjure up visions of beef or venison — you are in the Wild, Wild West, after all, pardner. Yet you might be surprised by the number of restaurants that specialize in or feature pizza in Jackson Hole. Since 93% of Americans who eat pizza do so once a month — and you might be part of that percentage — they certainly aren’t going to let a little thing like a bucket list vacation here stop their taste buds from crying out for a little pizza pie.
Here are places where you can find a slice of heaven.

CALICO BAR & RESTAURANT
A Jackson Hole favorite since 1969, Calico is located on the way to Teton Village on the Village Road (Rte 390). One of Calico’s “claim to fame” is its outdoor deck and the large open yard where kids can frolic before and after chowing down. Wood-fired pizza options include the Ski Bum (pesto, spinach, Canadian bacon, artichoke hearts, olives, tomatoes, pine nuts, and parmesan) and Mushroom Chutes (goat cheese sauce, portobello mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, arugula, and mozzarella).

CUTTY'S BAR & GRILL
The pizza served at Cutty’s is Jersey Shore style. You can build your own, or delight your taste buds with their Philly Cheesestake pie (shredded meat, onions, mushrooms and green peppers) or the Malaka’s, featuring spinach, roasted red peppers and feta cheese, or a selection of equally original pizzas.

HAND FIRE PIZZA
Hand Fire is in the historic former Teton Theater on Cache Street, just off Town Square. The chefs craft organic pizzas and food in an open kitchen using a 100% wood-fired oven. Any pizza can be made on a gluten-free 12-inch crust for an additional $4. Like a number of the restaurants offering/specializing in pizza, Hand Fire has given its pies creative names, such as the Chew-Baca (herbed ricotta cheese, bacon, caramelized onion, fresh arugula with a spicy Slide Ridge honey drizzle) and the Bison of a Gun (Wyoming bison chili, peppers and onion, mozzarella, cheddar, scallions, and sour cream.)

OFF-PISTE
The Off-Piste cafe is at the top of the Bridger Gondola at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. It is here that hungry skiers, hikers, or sightseers can grab Neapolitan-style pizza by the slice or choose to enjoy a whole pie. Favorites include the Teton Truffle and Giddy Up ‘n Burn: mozzarella, goat cheese, pepperoni, hot honey, and red pepper flakes.
PINKY G'S
Pinky G’s Pizzeria has been voted "Best Pizza in Jackson Hole" since 2011. Twice featured on "Diners, Drive-In’s & Dives," the creative topping combinations are what have made Pinky G’s so popular with both locals and visitors. In a nod to the authentic, thin-sliced New York-style pizza the restaurant is famous for, triangles of yumminess are served on sheets of wax paper.
