Where To Watch the Big Game!
If you’re on vacation in Jackson Hole on Sunday, February 9th — and if you’re a football fan (even for just one day a year!) — you’ll probably want to know where to go to watch Super Bowl L1X. Have no fear: We’ve found some touchdown-worthy places for you to Super Bowl in the Hole.
Conveniently, Super Bowl's kickoff time coincides with après ski: 4:30 p.m. MT. This means you have time to change out of your ski garb and throw on your team’s jersey. Or, you can choose not to wiggle out of your snow pants at all; it depends on where you happen to be that afternoon.
• Mangy Moose Saloon: Located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the Moose will welcome football fans clad in ski gear (boots, too!), if that’s how you choose to roll in. The game will be played on 7+ TVs, including the gigantic screen above the stage. Also on tap are drink and food specials. 307-733-4913
• Cutty’s Bar & Grill: A real local hangout, Cutty’s is at the corner of highways 89 and 22 (1140 West Hwy. 22). The game will be playing on the bar’s 11 TV screens. Football-viewing fuel can be found in Cutty’s famous variety of cheese steaks as well as other pub fare. 307-201-1079
• Sidewinders American Grill: Located at 945 West Broadway and 2550 Moose-Wilson Road on the way to Teton Village, Sidewinders is Jackson Hole’s ultimate sports bar, boasting 30 HD TVs (total) throughout the spacious, tavern-like settings. Super Bowl celebrants can choose from 28 beers on tap as well as burgers, pizza and steak. 307-734-5766
• Silver Dollar Bar: Super Bowlers can belly up to the infamous 2,032 Morgan silver dollar-embedded Silver Dollar Bar, located in the historic Wort Hotel off Town Square, as well as take a seat at tables for food specials while rooting for their team. The game will be on numerous TVs, plus two extra big screens — one placed in the middle of the original, older bar area and one in the Silver Dollar Showroom. 307-733-2190
• Snake River Brewery: Jackson Hole’s oldest and largest craft brewery will have a variety of its ales and lagers on tap and special bar bites deals. Seventeen HD flat-screen TVs are hung everywhere for your viewing pleasure. The full dinner menu will also be available. 307-739-BEER (2337)
• Haydens Post in the Snow King Resort: "Sunday Funday" at Haydens will feature a signature cocktail for each team (the Chiefs and the Eagles) and draft beers will be on special for $5. Football fan-favorite foods include chips and salsa for $6; for $8 you can add Queso Fundido (with chorizo, green onions, diced tomatoes and diced green chili). A spicy pulled chicken quesadilla with sour cream and salsa can be savored for $12. The Game Day buffet will be set up from 3:30 p.m. until the game ends. 307- 734-3187
• The Virginian Saloon will be showing the Big Game on five TVs. There will be team-themed food and drink specials. 307-733-8165
