Jackson Hole Weekly Weather Tips

THIS WEEK:

• On Wednesday, the 3oth, the Center for the Arts hosts the "Finding True North" film premiere. "Finding True North" follows the inspiring journey of Josh Bogle, a quadruple amputee who doesn't let anything get in his way. From snowboarding to big wave surfing, Josh believes there is no limit to what he can accomplish if he puts his heart and soul into everything. Time: 7:30 p.m.; Cost: $18. • Also on Wednesday, check out the Slow Food Farm Stand presented on the lawn at Snake River Brewery from noon to 6 p.m., offering fresh, seasonal produce from local and regional growers.

THIS WEEKEND:

• From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., enjoy First Friday Art Walks in the vibrant downtown Jackson art district, sponsored by Mangelsen- Images of Nature Gallery, in collaboration with the Jackson Arts Council.

• On Saturday, there is an Indigenous Arts and Cultural Demonstration Program Speaker Series at Colter Bay Amphitheater in Grand Teton National Park. This free event is held from 8 to 8:45 p.m. every Saturday through September 20th.

• Saturday also features the Pierre’s Hole 50/100 mountain bike race over the Teton Pass at Grand Targhee Resort on nearly all of the resort’s single-track and double-track trails. Another high-adrenaline race set for Saturday is the Rendezvous Mountain Hillclimb, the most demanding hillclimb running event in the West! The climb covers a little more than 4100' vertical in just 6.1 miles to the top of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Aerial Tram, starting at 8:30 a.m. Visit Jackson Hole Mountain to learn more.

• On Sunday, the 3rd, shop, connect and get inspired by local artisans at the Makers Market at Healthy Being Café & Juicery from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. You can find ceramics, textiles, paintings, jewelry, and more, plus live music.

• On Monday, there will be free entry into Grand Teton National Park in honor of the anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act

MUSIC MOMENTS:

• The Wilder Blue band will perform at the Mangy Moose Saloon Saturday night. Doors open at 8 p.m. and showtime is 8:45. Tickets cost $24 and can be purchased here.
• Nora's Fish Creek Inn in Wilson offers live music on Thursday and Tuesday nights as well as Sunday mornings. The eatery's "happy hour and a half" at the bar only happens 7 days a week.

DON'T MISS: During the Jackson Hole Rodeo, the Sheep Scramble offers kids a chance to chase woolly critters in the arena. Between events, enjoy the mechanical bull and other family-friendly activities. The rodeo is held at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
