Jackson Hole Lodging Guide

The Aspens area is home to Teton Pines Golf & Country Club. In the summer months vacation rentals in this area provide easy access to golf, tennis, and Grand Teton National Park via Teton Village. Winter lodging gives you equally short drives to skiing at Teton Village and the culture, nightlife, and attractions of downtown Jackson. The Aspens has its own small commercial area with a grocery store, liquor store, and lunch spots.

The southern Park entrance is 12 miles from downtown Jackson. The Park offers a few lodging options of its own, and is a good choice if the majority of your vacation time will be spent in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Located 11 miles south of Jackson, the Hoback area gives visitors easy access to the Snake River, There are not too many lodging options in Hoback, but it is home to several classic Wyoming guest ranches that offer amazing horseback riding and fishing activities.

The town of Jackson is the hub of the Jackson Hole valley, eight miles south of the airport and 12 driving miles from Teton Village. Town's proximity to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort make it a great lodging choice. Basing your stay in town also provides easy access to shopping, museums, theaters, and galleries.

Home to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Teton Village is located 12 miles form the town of Jackson, and sits on the southern border of Grand Teton National park. A wide range of lodging options exists at The Village, including high-end homes, mid-range rentals, and hostel-style dormitories. In the winter months lodging here is the first choice for skiers. Summertime visitors should still consider Teton Village for its easy access to area hiking and Grand Teton National Park. The Village does have several of its own stores, restaurants, and nightlife options.

Wilson, Wyoming is located at the base of Teton Pass, close to the Idaho Border. Visitors looking for more secluded rental options should consider the Wilson area. A short drive will get you to Teton Village or the town of Jackson. Staying in Wilson will provide you with access to favorite local haunts such as the Stagecoach Bar and Nora's restaurant.
