Every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day enthusiastic crowds gather at the Jackson Hole Rodeo Grounds for a celebration of western tradition. The JH Rodeo entertains young and old with calf roping, barrel racing, kids events, and the grand-daddy of them all, bull riding.

A Jackson Hole summertime tradition on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 8 pm at the Teton County Fairgrounds on Snow King Avenue. Jackson offers all your favorite events like: barrel racing, calf roping, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, and a calf scramble for kids.

Cowboys and wannabe cowboys from all over the region also come. The rodeo cowboy is a tough breed. Few make much money, and most of the local sorts can't afford to compete full time. But Jackson Hole is a great place for them to accumulate experience and points for those who dream of going on to larger, more lucrative competitions.

If you've never seen a rodeo, sitting in the middle of Jackson Hole surrounded by mountains on all side has go to be one of the greatest place to see your first. The emcee will explain and entertain as the rodeo moves through it course from calf roping to the crowd favorite, and most dangerous event, bull riding.
